HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR DATA?

We take data protection seriously. We aim to continually improve our IT security, give our staff relevant data protection training and ensure data, both physical and digital, is stored securely.  We have contracts with providers requiring them to protect your information. 

USE OF ‘COOKIES’ AND AUTOMATED DECISION MAKING

Cookies are very small text files that are stored on your computer when you visit some websites. We use cookies to help identify your computer so we can tailor your user experience and gather non-personal information about the use of our website. You can disable any cookies already stored on your computer, but these may stop our website from functioning properly. Information that we gather through the use of cookies is not personal and is not shared with any third-parties other than our website analytics software which is provided by Google Analytics.

We do not have systems that use your information for automated decision making. 

IP ADDRESSES

An internet protocol (IP) address can allow us to track which organisations visit our webpages.  We may use software to plan our services and provide information on what topics specific organisations may be interested in.  We will not match IP addresses to an individual. 

LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES

Our website contains links to websites run by our members and other organisations. This policy applies only to our own website and we are not responsible for the actions, policies or practices of other sites.
